Health Care Services
Twenty-four hour nursing and personal care based on individual need is provided under the supervision of a registered nurse, including medication administration, ongoing health monitoring, and assistance with daily activities as required.
Our Personal Support Worker works within a primary care nursing model which provides for the most consistency in personal care. They are all fully qualified and many have worked with Bayfield Manor for many years. There is a strong sense of loyalty and belonging shared by our staff, old and new, which is reflected in the care they provide to residents.
Medical care is provided by a team of in-house physicians led by our Medical Director, who ensures that the highest quality medical services are available 24 hours a day at all stages of health, including palliative care. We work closely with the local hospital and have access to specialty services in Ottawa. Medical services include full pharmacy services, all necessary medical supplies including specialty products for skin care, etc. foot care and diagnostic services, both on and off site.
